Inspiration for the Victoria series comes from walking the cool winterscape of the Dallas Road waterfront, breakwater and surrounding areas. The paintings’ large scale envelopes the viewer with the feel of salt air mist as well as the magic of the West Coast. The minimalism steps into the realm of gentle colour fields.
